ShortFly
Is ShortFly free? Free with a Catch.
Pricing: Drama content itself is free to stream, but a VIP purchase (Play range $6.99-$99.99) is meant to remove the app's unusually long ads, though one reviewer reports ads persisting after buying VIP, suggesting a possible billing/functionality bug. Optional paid features: VIP (ad removal) ($6.99 - $99.99 per item).
ShortFly streams its drama library free, but reviewers consistently describe the ad load as disproportionate to content length, and at least one paying VIP user still saw ads.
- Full drama episodes streamable free with no purchase required
- Wide variety of genres and daily new content
- Rewards earnable through watching, check-ins, and tasks
- Ads reported as longer than the actual episode content, sometimes 30+ seconds for a few sentences of drama
- One reviewer purchased VIP but ads didn't stop, suggesting a billing/functionality bug
- Content library doesn't sync between devices for the same account
